We are confident Camp Trident will be a challenging and fun experience for all in attendance. The agenda includes climbing, rappelling, boating, swimming, land navigation, hiking, and more. I am writing to provide some logistical information for your upcoming camp in Virginia.

FLIGHT/AIRPORT INFORMATION & LOGISTICS
IF YOUR CAMPER IS FLYING INSTEAD OF DRIVING AND YOU WOULD LIKE TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE TO/FROM OUR LOCALLY APPROVED AIRPORT(S), THE LEGAL GUARDIAN IS REQUIRED TO INFORM US OF THE FLIGHT INFORMATION DURING THE REGISTRATION PROCESS. THE INSTRUCTOR STAFF ALSO REQUIRES A COPY OF THE FLIGHT INFORMATION.
IF YOU OBTAIN THE FLIGHT BOOKING INFORMATION AFTER THE REGISTRATION FORM HAS BEEN SUBMITTED, YOU CAN SUBMIT YOUR FLIGHT INFORMATION TO US USING THE BUTTON/LINK AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.
TRANSPORTATION IS ONLY PROVIDED BY THE CAMP TRIDENT STAFF TO AND FROM APPROVED AIRPORTS FOR SELECTED CAMPS.

- Cape Charles, VA Camp – Norfolk International Airport (ORF)
- Cotopaxi, CO Camp – Colorado Springs Airport (COS)
FLIGHT COORDINATION REQUIREMENTS
- Arrival Flights: Parents are asked to make every effort to book flights arriving at the locally approved airport between 10:00am – 2:00pm on the Start Day of camp. If this cannot be accomplished, we will do our best to accommodate.
- Departure Flights: Please try to arrange departure from the locally approved airport no earlier than 1:00pm on the End Day of camp.
AIRPORT PICK-UP PROCEDURES
- Campers shall remain in the vicinity of the airport baggage claim carousel upon arrival to meet up with Trident Camp staff/drivers.
- Camp staff/drivers will be identifiable by green camouflage pants and Navy-Blue Camp Trident shirts and will coordinate pick-up.

GEAR
Camp Trident will provide all equipment necessary for training. In addition, all campers will be issued uniform trousers, shirts, and hats. We will also provide sleeping bags, but you may bring your own if you desire. The pillow is optional. You will need to bring adequate numbers of socks, underwear, footwear, and toiletries, as described on the site.
WHAT TO BRING (GEAR LIST):
- Pants – Uniform pants will be provided
- Shirts – Uniform T-shirt will be provided
- Socks – 10 pairs
- Underwear – 8-10 pairs
- Swim shorts
- Running shoes – 1 for running/wearing around and if possible a second pair that can get muddy
- Flip flops, sandals, or water shoes – for shower and beach (optional)
- Towels – 2
- Sunscreen waterproof
- Face stick
- Shower kit: please have in plastic bag or mess bag that is labeled
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Deodorant
- Nail clippers
- Razor (if needed)
- Pillow (optional)
- 1 Sweatshirts
- 1 Rain Jacket
WHAT NOT TO BRING:
These will be locked up during camp.
- Cell phones
- IPODs
- Electronic games
- Weapons
- Extra clothes
- Ball caps
- Cameras/ Photos – will be locked up during the camp. Camp staff will be taking photos during the camp.
MEDICAL INFORMATION:
Any medications will be discussed with our medical personnel at drop-off and may be administered by them during camp as necessary.
PARENT ACCOMODATIONS AND INFORMATION
Hotels:
If you’re a parent or donor coming out to the camp to visit. You’re always welcome to bring a tent and camp out with us on location. All staff and campers set up tents for primitive style camping. If that does not work for you. Below we have a list of hotels that would be suitable for your visit.
